Terms of use

These terms apply when you use clydesdale.am and when you buy from us. The seller is Clydesdale, Yerevan, Armenia; our details are at the end of this page. By placing an order or opening an account you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of the Republic of Armenia, including the Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights”.

We describe our products and show them in photos as accurately as we can, but colours may look slightly different on your screen. Everything is subject to availability.

Prices are set in Armenian drams (AMD). If you choose another currency, prices are converted from AMD at the Central Bank of Armenia rate shown at checkout plus a 3% conversion margin. The currency, rate and amounts are fixed in your order when you place it.

The delivery fee, any free-delivery threshold and any promo code discount are shown at checkout before you place the order. One promo code can be used per order.

When you place an order you make an offer to buy the items in it. You'll see your order number straight away. We then call you on the number you gave to confirm the order and agree on a delivery time. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was clearly wrong, or we can't reach you. If that happens we'll tell you, and since you pay on delivery, you won't have paid anything.

You can change or cancel an order free of charge until it's sent: write to us or call us.

We deliver across Armenia, usually within 1–3 days after confirming your order. Please check the parcel when you receive it and tell us straight away if something is missing or damaged.

You pay when your order arrives, in cash or by card. We don't take payment online and nothing is charged in advance.

Under Article 24.4 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Consumer Rights”, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days start on the day you actually receive the goods; if your order arrives in several deliveries, from the day you receive the last one.

To withdraw, tell us within those 14 days. Write to info@clydesdale.am, or open the Support menu at the top of the site and send us a message in the chat. Give your order number and say which items you're returning. A clear statement is enough; no particular form is required. We'll confirm that we received it in writing, by email or in the chat.

Then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us; we'll agree with you how to send or hand them over. You pay only the cost of returning them. Please handle the items only as you would in a shop to check them: if their value is reduced because they were used beyond that, you're responsible for that loss in value.

We'll refund all payments for the returned items, including standard delivery, within 14 days of learning that you've withdrawn, by the same method you paid with (a cash payment in cash, a card payment to the same card). We may wait to refund until we've received the goods back or you've shown proof that you've sent them, whichever comes first.

Within the same 14 days you can instead ask to exchange an item for another size or colour, if we have it in stock.

Your rights for items with a defect are separate from this and are not limited by it.

You don't need an account to order. If you open one, give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account that's used to break these terms or the law.

Use the chat to ask about products, orders and deliveries. You can attach up to 5 photos or PDF files of up to 10 MB each per message. Don't send anything unlawful, offensive or that you don't have the right to share, and don't send card details or passwords.

The Clydesdale name and logo, the photos, texts and design of the site belong to Clydesdale or are used with permission. Please don't copy them for commercial use without our written consent.

We work to keep the site available and the information on it correct, but can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We're responsible for the goods we sell and the services we provide as Armenian law requires, and nothing here excludes that responsibility.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. If we can't agree, the dispute will be settled by the courts of the Republic of Armenia, and you keep every right a consumer has under Armenian law.

These terms are published in Armenian, English, French, German and Russian. The Armenian version is the legally binding one; if the versions differ, the Armenian version prevails.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Your order is governed by the terms in force when you placed it.
